Also known as a multi-caliber suppressor, the SAS Jekyll and Hyde Interchangeable Caliber Suppressor is the first of its kind. The modular, multi-baffle, multi-caliber suppressor is comprised of 3 individual suppressors in the series.

Each of our ThunderCan Jekyll and Hyde Interchangeable Caliber Suppressors contains a revolutionary dual baffle system (DBS) to meet the needs of the calibers you shoot. You use each module with the small stainless steel cover baffle inserted when shooting smaller calibers and remove the small baffle from each module when shooting larger calibers.
The ThunderCan Jekyll and Hyde Interchangeable Caliber Suppressors can be used in either short or long configurations by removing the modular nuts and sliding the front cap back.
A Titanium Blast Chamber, stainless steel cover baffles, plates and blast inserts, and 7075 aluminum modules and end caps are engineered into this one-of-a-kind Multi-Caliber Suppressor.

What is an Interchangeable Caliber Suppressor?

Interchangeable caliber suppressors, also known as multi-caliber suppressors or modular suppressors, are available and designed to be used with multiple firearm calibers rather than being limited to a single caliber. Interchangeable Caliber Suppressors are a popular option for shooters who own a variety of firearms and don't want the cost of a dedicated suppressor for each gun. It is an innovative solution.

HOW INTERCHANGEABLE MULTI-CALIBER SUPPRESSORS FUNCTION

• Large Bore Interchangeable Multi-Caliber Suppressors: At the core, multi-caliber suppressors are constructed with a bore (the internal diameter through which the bullet passes) large enough to accommodate the largest caliber the suppressor is rated for. For example, a .45 caliber multi-cal suppressor can handle .45 ACP, 9mm, and even smaller calibers because the larger bore allows the smaller bullets to pass through without striking the baffles. Similarly, a .30 caliber rifle suppressor can often handle 5.56mm, 6.5 Creedmoor, and other smaller rifle calibers.
• Modular Design: Many interchangeable caliber suppressors feature a modular design like our ThunderCan Jekyll and Hyde models. This means the user can reconfigure the suppressor to optimize performance or adapt to different firearms.
  • Some Standard Modular Suppressor Features Include:
    • Interchangeable End Caps: These are caps that screw onto the front of the suppressor. Different end caps have different bore diameters. Using a smaller bore end cap for a smaller caliber can improve sound suppression by reducing the amount of gas that escapes around the bullet.
