Thank you for considering or purchasing the Shaw Armament Systems ThunderCan Hellion 45 Suppressor.
The Shaw Armament Systems ThunderCan MK9 is our homage to the classic Gemtech Mk9-K, with our own ThunderCan twist. It is the ultimate in performance for any 9mm carbine, delivering outstanding sound level reduction in a compact length. With a core that is smaller in diameter than the tube, the coaxial vented blast chamber takes advantage of additional volume around the baffle stack for gas expansion out of the muzzle, reducing first round pop and back pressure. The patented modular hybrid core design utilizes a “sandwiched baffle” concept, with the core components manufactured of dissimilar materials that cannot be traditionally welded, threaded together. This allows the extensive use of titanium for weight reduction, and stainless steel where extreme erosion resistance of the bore aperture is desired. As a by-product of this design, the MK9 is a fully user serviceable suppressor for maintenance and cleaning that can handle as much full auto fire as any end user can throw at it. It is hands down one of the best SMG cans available today.
